Have you noticed an increase in TBG's activity on Facebook and Twitter? Our recent surge of new players came primarily from advertising on these pages and I want to continue the trend. To help do just that I am now posting and tweeting daily about our hottest labels, recent brewery upgrades, contest results, and more. Watch soon for the "Labels on Parade" promotion to start back up also. As always I look to our existing players to help in any way you can to get the word out.

To further increase our presence and integration with the social media websites I have made some changes to the game also. You can now enter your social media links and they will appear next to your public brewery data and on your information page when people click on your name in the pub. It is optional but if you want people to find you faster then I encourage you to share your contact info. I have even provided an opportunity to place personalized links to two of the most popular brewing forums Untappd and HomeBrewTalk. If you submit your username into your TBG profile then players can quickly find you.

              

To get your links into your TBG profile go to your new My Links page which can be reached as usual through your "My Page" tab. You can also add links to your personal webpage and up to two additional brewery related sites. We reserve the right to remove any inappropriate links so please use this feature as intended.

As part of this update I have eliminated some mostly unused and buggy brewery data that was previously collected when editing your brewery. Keep an eye out because one of these days soon I will be adding some code that allows you to upload custom images of your personal brewery to your profile so you can share those with others. Also coming soon is a proper forum for the game to help new players find answers to all of the questions that come up when just starting out.
