I am implementing a change to the way judge points decrease over time. Until now players would lose 1 judge point every day that they did not take a judge test. Effective in March players with accumulated judge points equal to or greater than 2000 will lose 25 points on any day that they do not take a test. Similarly, players with accumulated judge points equal to or greater than 1000 will lose 10 points and players with equal to or greater than 500 accumulated judge points will lose 5 points on any day that they do not take a test. Players with less than 500 points will still only lose 1 point per day on any day that they do not take a test.
By making this change and using a sliding scale I hope to reduce any notion that votes don't count because the high scoring judges will make the final decision anyway. It requires players who want to make a huge impact on style contests to maintain their status as a "super judge" by working a bit harder at it. And lastly it allows me to avoid placing artificial limits on how many points can be accumulated. Thanks for your understanding as I feel that implementing this game balancing adjustment is important for the long term success of the style contest system.

EDIT: Just a reminder that if you are a judge in the current contest then your points DO NOT go down.
EDIT: Good news, I just fixed a bug that prevented the judge points from updating in the current contest when the player trains to a higher level. It is now working as intended.
