As promised here are a few more goodies for TBG's anniversary celebration. All new registered players will now start off with $500 brew bucks (instead of $150) and twice the supply of brewing ingredients! This is enough money to get at least one critical brewing upgrade within a day or two of starting out and should help our newer players to get into the game much faster. This is a permanent change to the game and to make it fair for all of our recent arrivals I will make the change retroactive to the start of the year by adding money and supplies to recent registrants.

I have a gift for our veteran players as well... Introducing the all new "Double Purple Heart". We are talking the ultimate drunk here. Not that I condone that sort of behavior mind you, but we all have probably been there once or twice in our lives. To earn a double purple heart you need to drink a lot of beer, oh wait, you probably already knew that. But it's not as bad as you might think, you only have to drink half as much again as you did to earn the first purple heart. Each double earns you another purple heart credit toward brewing ingredients. So for drinking only half as much as you needed for the first one you get a second purple heart credit (in the stats) toward brewing ingredients.

Now there is a down side, DOUBLE purple hearts cannot be earned with six packs (Your first purple heart can still be earned with six packs though!). You must drink beer in the pub to earn credit toward your double purple heart. And let me emphasize that last point a bit more. From now on you must be in the pub to earn purple hearts or to increase your drunk status. So beers drunk outside the pub will no longer get you drunk (change your avatar color) or help you to get either a purple heart or a double. And while I hate to add this restriction, I recently discovered players running 24 hour bots to drink beer just to earn purple hearts. Needless to say these players are now prevented from this behavior and in some cases have been removed from the game.

Moving on... "I drink alone prizes" have always just consisted of beer money and brewing ingredients. Now they occasional include small brew dollar prizes also. And for the duration of the anniversary event keg party prizes have all been doubled to boot!
