Our winter holiday special event is up and running and "Santa Clyde" has broken new ground in the "give-away" department! I personally celebrate Christmas, but whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, "Festivus" or perhaps you just celebrate the discovery of the south pole on December 14th (1911) or Ludwig von Beethoven's birthday on December 16th (1770) the premise is the same... we all want to celebrate and party for more than 1 day!

So in that spirit and for the first time ever on TBG the prizes include ingredient unlocks. You heard that right... Santa Clyde has wrapped up presents in the pub that usually contain brew money but will on occasion be stuffed with an instant unlock for an ingredient. Every ingredient in the house is available (they are chosen randomly) and you never know whether that next package contains something you desperately need to improve your brew. If you open a package and it contains an ingredient you already have then Clyde will give you cash instead... but keep trying and you just might get something that might otherwise take countless hours of gameplay to obtain!

So that's right the usual pub coins turning to brew money thing is not happening in this event, instead you will need to look for packages that Clyde lovingly wraps and deposits on the pub floor. And no doubt they will seem few and far between. But I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Clyde is nostalgic as hell and loves those old fashioned holiday cartoons. And I have learned that a number of them will be available on the pub TV during this event. If you pick up the remote and spot a holiday cartoon then you should definitely watch it! Clyde will get all weapy about holiday spirit if you do and the number of wrapped packages on the floor will increase something like 5 times, the pub floor will be littered with loot! But the windfall will only last for 15 minutes and then everything returns to normal. So remember... watch the holiday cartoons and then scoop up every package you can get! I have no doubt that you will find something to your liking.

Oh one more thing, how do you figure that Santa Clyde gets to work each day? A sleigh of course! And he is as careless as the rest. Pick up keys and if you find Santa's sleigh then take it for a spin. Do that and you have hit the grand prize my friend, $5000 brew bucks will instantly be deposited in your kitty. Whoa. Doing so will also trigger an increase in pub prizes for everyone just as if you had watched one of the Holiday cartoons too.

That not enough for ya?! Well, similar to past events we have other prizes that will be given away at the end of the event. The player who has collected the most candy canes will win $1000, the player who has watched the most holiday cartoons will win $1000, and the player who sells the most of their holiday label will also win $1000. And all holiday labels will sell for half price up until the end.

Brew beer... Drink beer... Play! and Happy Holidays! What else do you need to know?
