Oktoberfest is approaching fast (Sept. 21 to Oct 5) and in between your real life parties you won't want to miss the celebration here at TBG. Since Oktoberfest is the ultimate beer party I have chosen keggers to be the theme of this two week event (Starts Sept 21). If you don't have a party room yet then you should definitely get one to take full advantage. See details below for ways to get a free party room. In addition to the usual array of free virtual stuff and to spice things up a bit I am giving away lots of prizes worth real money.

Players who have a party room will enjoy free keg parties for the entire two week event, your brew dollar cost to throw a keg party or a new release party will be $0. And labels with an ABV greater than or equal to 6% will be at half price during a player's keg party. Traditional Oktoberfest beers were required to be at this level and thus we honor that tradition. Players who sell more than 100 of any label at their kegger will have that label's expiration date extended for one year at no cost. Players who manage to put together a whopper of a party (sell >500 beers of all labels) will get a free brewery upgrade of their choice.

Special events at TBG have always been about getting free stuff and stocking up on supplies for future batches. And Clyde assures me that free brewing supplies and brew bucks will be plentiful in the pub for the entire event. But this time I want to pull out the stops and give some stuff away myself, we're talking big loads of brew dollars and even credits... real money label credits will be up for grabs and not too hard to get either. Whether or not you have a party room any player who drinks at least 100 beers at one or more parties will get a free label credit (limit one). Any player who stays in the pub and drinks 100 beers a day whether there is a party on or not (and meets a few other requirements) will be awarded $500 in brew bucks at the end of each day.

Those of you who can get your friends to sign up for the game and buy credits will receive free t-shirts and free 3-credit packs and your friend will be given a free party room and t-shirt too. And any player who does not currently have a party room and buys 3 credits or more during the event will get a party room installed for free*.

Honestly I'm not sure I can give away any more and still stay in business... so I encourage you to take advantage of the event, play as much as you can and by all means bring others into the fold. I am still working on the code and the details for the event so everything said here is subject to change, but I wanted to share with you a little early so you can get your Oktoberfest labels and your plans ready.
