A loophole in the code where it was possible to farm from multiple windows has been closed. The original system that I installed to prevent players from exploiting the farm from multiple windows was not working very well and many of you found it too tempting to increase your farming rate using multiple windows. A new governor system is in place now that will greatly diminish your ability to farm from more than one open window to the game. You will be hit with the 'Pesky rats have got your crop' message if you try it and you will have trouble farming from any window from that point on until the server can figure out from which window you are really playing the game. You may have to close all extra windows and refresh one of them to farm properly again.

Occasionally when you are farming from only one window but you decide to change browsers or if you refresh the main game window and you have an auxiliary page open this message may also come up. Wait a few minutes for the server to figure itself out then refresh your browser again and you should be able to farm normally again. I know this update will not be popular with some of you but it is necesary for fairness and to allow the game to be played as it was intended.
